Printer issues

Envy 5530
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I can not print I tried everything the Virtual assistant suggested but nothing worked i dont think the VA understood the issue I have the printer selected as my default it is connected to my router the  pages show up in my  Q i can copy yet i got a message THAT MY PRINTER WAS OUT OF PAPER I have plenty of paper in my printer I am out of warranty so no help from hp
