HP Envy 5530 appears fine but HP Smart tells me action is required at the printer but does not specify. Nothing at all happens my print request just joins the queue. I have deleted all printing jobs and have checked wi-fi connection which appears fine. I have tried HP troubleshooter and the virtual assistant. Neither were of any use. Any ideas anyone?

Did you make any changes to the printer recently?
Which device are you trying to print from the mobile/computer?
What is the Operating System installed if it is a computer?
If you are printing from a mobile device, is it an Android or iOS?
Meanwhile, perform the steps below:
1) Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
2) Take out the cartridges.
3) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.
4) Wait for 30 seconds.
5) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not to a surge protector.
6) Insert the cartridges back into the printer and try to print.
