Printer keeps indicating there is a paper jam but we've checked and re-checked. It doesn't seem to be picking up the paper.

I understand you have issues with paper pick up on the printer, this could be an issue with the rollers. If you have already performed the steps from the document Paper Jam Error and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
