Printer not printing color after changing cartridges

hp officejet 6962

I just changed all 3 color cartridges in my HP OfficeJet 6962 because they were low. I printed a document and a test page and still no colors print, just black. I then changed the black cartridge because it was also low, made sure the vents were clean on all cartridges and cartridges were seated properly - still no color. Black print works fine, but absolutely no color prints. I've done the cartridge head cleaning process through completion 4 and 5 tims now - no change. Now what? Thanks.

@Danika1, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

Have you tried using the old color ink cartridges and check if they work?

 

This seems like an issue with the printhead of the printer. Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:

 

Update the printer firmware

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

Reboot the printer.

 

Perform the steps mentioned in this document. Skip the steps you have already tried.

I followed all the steps and did it twice. but still not printing in color

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2) Select your product type below.

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Select the appropriate option based on your preference.

6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.
