My printer more times than not doesn't print a full page.  Its like the printer started printing before the pager reached the printing heads.  I use a design program and it happens 95% of the time.  When I use regular printer paper I usually dont have a problem.  When I use my cardstock its always an issue.  I've been using this printer for almost 3 years, same paper and programs,  and everything was fine, now nothing works.  I've uninstalled the programs.  Uninstalled the printer and removed everything, still no luck.  Any suggestions.  Its frustrating wasting ink and paper.

@BrandowR, Welcome to HP Support Community!

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'd like to know the following-

  • What is the Operating System installed on your computer?
  • Which application are you trying to print from?
  • What is the size of the cardstock?
  • Have you tried making a photocopy on the cardstock?

Keep me posted for further assistance.

Windows 10.  I’m trying to print from My Digital Studio, My Memories Suit and Office.   I design my own labels and have always printed on 65lb card stock. I’ve tried copying it, but it’s not the same quality and takes forever to print out.  Here is a photo of what’s happening.

I suggest you uninstall the printing software first and then uninstall the printer driver from root level

1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’
6.) Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the “Drivers” tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
13.) Restart the computer and download the Full Feature Software from Here and follow the onscreen Instructions

Reinstall the printing software and let me know if the issue persists
