The troubleshooting steps in the document here may help resolve yellow and magenta not printing on your Photosmart C4580.  If three levels of cleaning cycles do not resolve the issue I would suggest removing the color cartridge and gently blotting the printhead on a damp tissue.  A good cartridge will have a strong blot of cyan, magenta and yellow.  If only cyan shows it will confirm the cartridge is at fault.

HP cartridges do have a warranty, see the document here for information

If the cartridge is no longer in warranty and only cyan shows you may be able to recover the cartridge as follows:  get a coffee cup and put about 1" of hot, but not boiling, water in it.  Put the cartridge nozzles down (in the orientation it would be in the printer) in the water and let it soak for ten minutes.  After ten minutes remove the cartridge from the water and dry the electrical contacts with a lint-free wipe.  A clean coffee filter works well for this.  After soaking the cartridge replace it in the printer and run up to three cleaning cycles.
