Product: HP Envy 5530

my printer started printing all text in outlined form. So black around the outside and white inside each little letter. This is happening from my Mac and from my husband's windowsv computer. Any of you experience this?

@Cmerino, Welcome to HP Support Community!

 

Does this happen when you make a photocopy on the printer?

Which application are you trying to print from?

 

Update the printer firmware

Download available firmware updates from the HP website

With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates.

For more information, go to Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware.

 

Also, I would suggest you perform the steps from the document HP ENVY, DeskJet Printers - Fixing Poor Print Quality.
