Printer printing the incorrect pages

Hi @Brinsky

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

  • Kindly elaborate on what you mean by printing incorrect page?
  • Which application are you trying to print from?
  • Have you tried printing different types of documents like PDF, Word or Webpages and check if the issue persists?

Perform a Clean reinstallation of Pre-installed HP drivers to fix any driver issues

  1.  In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
  2.  Select your HP Printer
  3.  Select Uninstall
  4.  In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
  5.  In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’
  6.  Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.
  7.  Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
  8.  Click on the “Drivers” tab
  9.  Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
  10.  Select Ok
  11.  Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
  12.  Close Devices and Printers, restart the computer.

Click here to download the HP Full-featured driver.

Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and follow the on-screen instructions.

Try printing.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Printer printing the incorrect pages

@Brinsky, I received your private message saying that the software issue has been resolved. However, you are not able to print in black now. Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:

Check the estimated ink levels, and then replace any low or empty cartridges.

Use an automated tool to clean the printhead (remove the color ink cartridge)

  1. On the printer control panel, press the Setup icon .

  2. Press the button  next to the arrow  until Tools displays next to OK.

  3. Press the button next to OK to select Tools, and then press the button next to the arrow  until Clean Printhead displays next to OK.

  4. Press the button next to OK to clean the printheads.

  5. If the print quality on the test page is unsatisfactory, touch Yes to perform a secondary cleaning of the printhead.

There are three printhead cleaning stages. Complete all three stages if necessary. If the printhead is badly clogged, it might require another cleaning cycle. If so, wait 30 minutes after the last (third) cleaning stage to start the first stage of the cleaning process over again.

Update the printer firmware

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

Print and evaluate a Print Quality Diagnostic Report

  1. On the control panel home screen, press the Setup icon .

  2. Press the button  next to the Down Arrow  until Reports displays next to OK.

  3. Press the button next to OK to select Reports.

  4. Press the button next to the Down Arrow  until Print Quality Report displays next to OK, and then press the button next to OK. The report prints.

  5. Check the report for defects.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
