HP Photosmart 6520 e-All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Printer says Carriage Jam, I have followed the steps in the animation and it still says error.

I have unplugged the machine and let it rest to see if that will fix it, nothing seems to be working.  I then replaced the ink cartridges to see if potentially that was the issue.  Nothing seems to be working

The printer worked fine yesterday morning then had this issue late yesterday, I unplugged overnight to see if that could help it, only  to wake up to the same error code.

Hi @Spills77

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

I understand the print carriage is jammed. I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps.

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document to resolve this issue. Also make sure there are no papers stuck inside the printer. Refer to this document to check for the same.

If the error persists, I'm afraid this is a hardware issue. If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.

Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
