Deskjet 2542
iOS

My Deskjet 2542 just stopped printing.    I was Printing e-mails without a problem then suddenly the printing got lighter. Now it sends through blank pages....    I have not used the printer for just over a month.   The cartridges were replace on March 30th and when I checked the ink levels it shows that there is ink....

can someone help me solve the problem??

Hi @Ceebee15,

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that your HP Deskjet 2542 All-in-One Printer prints blank pages even if there is ink in the cartridges.

This issue could occur if the nozzles of the cartridges are clogged.

Let's go through a few steps to troubleshoot this issue.

And here's the step by step guide for you in the document provided in the link: Print Quality Issues

Note: If you are not printing for more than a week then you need to remove the cartridges and keep it in an airtight plastic container or a zip-lock bag else the ink around the nozzles get dried up.

Let me know how this works.

You have a good day ahead.
