I have a HP Officeject 5746 printer. I recently changed the ink, both color and black and when I print from the computer or try to make a copy on the printer the page comes out blank. The first pages from the printer came out like the printer was low on ink and them came out completely blank.

Let us try these steps that may resolve this issue:
Update the printer firmware
Click here to download and install the latest firmware from your MAC.
Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.
Check the estimated ink levels
On the printer control panel, touch the Ink icon to display the current estimated ink levels.
Replace any low or empty ink cartridges.
Clean the ink cartridges
On the printer control panel, swipe the display to the left, and then touch Setup.
The Setup menu displays.
Swipe the display up, and then touch Printer Maintenance.
Touch Clean Cartridges.
A Print Quality Diagnostic report prints.
Also, perform step 14 mentioned in this document.
Try making a copy in Black and color and check if the issue persists.
