Printer won't print, align, or clean. Various error messages since last update.

Since the last software update, my printer stopped printing, and started giving me messages such as, "no cartridges installed," or "wrong cartridges," yet same 951 cartridges in place and printed fine before the update. I've heard similar complaints from other users. This is a software glitch. If I can't override this, I will never purchase another HP product again. I have an HP laptop, but could never get the HP printer to operate wirelessly with it. Couldn't find it. I waisted hours with all the tips on the website to no avail. The printer was working well with USB before this update. Whatever bug HP introduced into my system will be its last.
