Monday the printer screen showed a bad cartridge. Installed new ones Wednesday then print screen said printer issues check status n still says bad cartridge

Let's try to reset the printer and clean the ink cartridges. Refer to step#1 and 2 from here - HP Inkjet Printers - Ink Cartridge Errors
Also, try updating the printer's firmware. Refer to this document for steps - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
