I bought ink for my printer and when I put it in it still says I do not have ink I tried everything to reset it and it still won’t work can anyone help me with this

Please, provide us with some more information. Which printer do you use?
There could be some kind of communication problem between printer and computer which is causing the trouble. You can clean the electrical contacts by using this manual:
