Printhead problem

officejet pro 8610
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an error message stating that the printhead for my printer is missing, not detected or incorrectly installed. I have removed the printhead and reinstalled it and still get the same message. Is there anything else can I do or do I need to get a new printer? If I need a new printer is there a current model that uses the same ink cartridges?
