I'm sharing my HP 477 via my Windows Server 2008. We use an event viewer like software to see how many prints our customers have printed using a certain printer. If I print multiple copies of the same document, it doesn't show in the print log, which is a PITA for us. I have render on client computer disabled, I have mopier disabled. It works on my other HP printer, and I can't figure out why. Also, evertime I print, myy 477 keeps spewing information out into the print log saying "To stop logging information events for the print spooler, in Control Panel, open Printers, right-click a blank area of the window, click Run as Administrator, click Server Properties, click the Advanced tab, and then clear the Log spooler information events check box." How can I stop that? My other printers don't do it. If I do what it says, then I don't get any record of who has been printing!
