HP Envy 5546 Printer
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

I can't get my new printer (Envy 5546) to print more than 1 copy of a document at a time. When I change the Number of Copies box on the printer dialogue to more than 1, nothing comes out of the printer. The documnet shows briefly on the print queue but nothing is printed.

I found the reason behind this by accident.

I was trying to print multiple copies of a single page document (an agenda, so not an uncommon thing) and the printer was set to 'duplex printing' ie double sided. I had printed 1 copy to check successfully so didn't suspect.  When I inserted a blank 2nd page or changed the setting to 'everyday printing' it all worked fine.

Think HP should either handle it (my old canon printer did)  or show an error message, rather than just do nothing & leave me guessing.
