HP laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My photo printer envy 6234 always seems to print the same colours no matter what changes I make on screen. I have a spyder to calibrate my screen but nothing I do alters the actual printout. Always seems to be a bit too red and dark. If i make the screen very light the print is still the same. Is there a setting somewhere that can correct this please. I cannot find anything. It is almost like when the photo goes to the printer the printer decides what the actual colours are going to be.

Cheers Edward

Hi @eddietheone

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

Have you tried printing photos from a different application and check if the issue persists?

Also, try printing documents like PDF, Word, or Webpages and check if the issue persists.

To know how to make changes to the print settings on a Win PC, kindly refer to this document.

You may adjust the print quality between DRAFT, NORMAL, and BEST mode.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
