For the last week I have been unable to print anything with my HP ENVY 7640 displaying the error "Remove and reinstall the indicated ink cartridge, making sure it is correctly installed". The ink cartridge is brand new! I have tried disconnecting from power, taking then out and reinstalling but it has not worked. The ink is constantly giving me problems and it is way too expensive to keep buying after printing out a few pages.

 

Please help!

This could be an issue with the ink cartridge or the printer ink system.

 

If you have already performed the steps from the document HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer/cartridge replacement.
