Printing on Smaller Stationery

Mac
macOS 10.14 Mojave

With my old HP printers, I could feed in small stationery.  With the new Officejet 3830, this doesn't seem possible.  Any suggestions?

@AnnI

May I know what type of paper are you using? Also let me know the paper size

Meantime you can go through the Printer Specifications regarding the Paper Size and Type. Link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-officejet-3830-all-in-one-printer-series/7172321/document/c0...

Thank you 😊

The note card is 5 1/2" x 8".  I moved the paper guide over to accommodate the smaller size.  I cut a piece of paper down to size to see how my margins would be.  That piece fed thru the printer, but nothing printed on it.  With my old printer, I never had this problem.

Try updating the Firmware. Please follow the instructions in this Link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168

To avoid paper jams and other issues when printing on nonstandard custom paper sizes, make sure the dimensions fall within the parameters listed

88.9 x 127 mm (3.5 to 5.0 inches) to 215 x 355.6 mm (8.5 to 14.0 inches)
