Good to know your friend can print the same file to the same printer without the shadow issue. I can quit removing, cleaning, and replacing my ink cartridges; must be a software issue on my computer.

How do you go about finding out what should be installed.  If HP could answer that would be great.  I have a HP DESIGNJET T790

Copies are fine

Spreadsheets are fine

Word docs are fine

Only double when printing pdf docs or printing from internet
