ENVY 7640
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi. In June of this year, I finally set up my HP Envy 7640 printer I had bought some years before and never took out of the box. I needed to print that very night. Unfortunately, after setting up the printer, no matter whether I printed in color or black & white, the pages would be largely missing what was supposed to be there. I must have printed the test page a dozen times to always the same results. Absolutely nothing helped, and the print cartridges were brand new with plenty of properly loaded paper. Periodically I try to print again in either setting still to the same result. There is no error message when I try.

The attached pictures are examples of how my printouts look (scanned from a different device). Even though I just installed the printer 7 months ago and have yet to really get anything out of it, I'm told my HP Warranty expired, naturally due to the manufacturing and/or purchase dates. As such, I feel like I have a $200 paperweight taking up prime real estate in my home office. Your help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Liquid ink inside ink cartridge got dried due to not being in use for 7 months.

Replace both ink cartridges and your printer will print like a new.
