HP OfficeJet Pro 8715

Hello,

I want to print black ink only (all color cartridges are full). I have followed all instructions I can find, and select "Black and White only". It still prints in color. How do I get my printer to print only black ink?

Thank you!

Hi @JSHART

Welcome to HP Forums. This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

I understand that you would like to Print in Black only.

I'd like to help.

Are you trying to Print from a Windows PC or iOS computer?

If you are using a Windows PC, try these Steps.

- Go to devices and printers.

- Right, click OfficeJet Pro 8715.

- Select printer preferences.

- Click advance button.

- Go to printer features.

- Click print in greyscale and from the drop-down select Black ink only.

Or

- Go devices and printer.

- Right, click OfficeJet Pro 8715.

- Select printer properties.

- Go to device settings tab.

- And select the print color to black.

Please find the picture attached below.

Let me know how it goes.

Thank you. 🙂
