HP Photo Envy 7855

I was having printing issues 2 days ago where my prints were coming out with horizontal lines. Someone reached out to me and sent me all the trouble shooting tricks. I completed them all and even had to uninstall and reinstall the software. Today I print and I'm having the same issues. I ran the diagnostic and it's telling me to clean the "document feeder roller" Does anyone know how to do that?

Hi @kb124

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

  • Are you getting these lines on black or color print outs?
  • Are you using the document feeder to make copies or scans?
  • Kindly refer to this document to know how to clean the rollers.

Check the estimated ink levels. Replace any low or empty ink cartridges.

Try making a standalone copy in black and color from glass to check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

If the issue persists, perform steps 10 and 13 from this document.

Print a Print Quality Diagnostic page

  1. On the control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and then touch the Setupicon.

  2. Swipe up on the display, touch Reports, and then touch Print Quality Report.

  3. Check if the issue has been resolved.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
