Problem when printing from my laptop to an HP Officejet Pro 8600 N911a thru USB attached to Desktop

Problem when printing from my laptop to an HP Officejet Pro 8600 N911a thru a USB attached to my Windows 10 Desktop.

Not Working -- Somehow suddenly changed. ???
Printing FROM a Windows 10 Laptop TO -> On a HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 – N911a ---- > attached by USB to a Window 10 Desktop
This has been working for years. Now it stopped working.
The message I was getting on the laptop was: "Printer not found on server" then this morning nothing.

I see the NAMES on my Control Panel -"Devices and Printers" icons Names are DIFFERENT ??
o Laptop "HP Officejet Pro 8600 on ROGERASUS-M51AC"
o Desktop w/ USB attached "HP printer: HP Officejet Pro 8600 ( Copy 1)"

I saw a place on one or both? of the systems -- a way to RENAME the printer ?
First, I forgot where I saw that, and then thought I should try to get HP Support or a Board to see what they thought.
Did not want to make things worse.
