I am having exactly the same issue. The printer is new, it prints just fine on regular paper however when I print on card stock I lose a portion of each sheet printed as it prints from the very top edge of the paper cutting off the top portion of the print task.

I have the most recent software (I have only recently downloaded it) installed when I got the printer.

I have attempted printing from both my Mac and my iPhone and they both have the same frustrating issue.

I have the card stock in drawer 2 and the settings say that it is set to plain paper thick.

Thanks for replying!

Which application are you trying to print from?

Does the print preview appear good?

Also, Update the printer firmware

Download available firmware updates from the HP website

With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates. For more information, go to Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware.

Keep me posted for further assistance.

I am printing from Microsoft word and Mac Preview. Both programs have the same issue. The print preview appears fine.

What is the HP return policy?

As a teacher I need to print on the school supplied card stock. I have never known a printer to not print on standard 8.5x11, especially not a new model of printer. I am very disappointed with this product.
