I executed the firmware update. It completed just fine. But I still cannot use the cartridges. The error message says they are empty. They are new. I have used these same cartridges many times. This is the first problem. **bleep**. Tried everything I could find. I am so surprised at this. I have used HP products of all kinds over many years, and now this cheap shot. **bleep**. I have spent so much time on this. If I do not get a resolution I am going to warn people wide and far not to purchase HP. I'm stuck with a worthless printer and tons of ink I can't use. **bleep**I have a Officejet Pro 8710.

@BadRobot3000 I understand your concern and I will bring your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP.

Although, I'll need some private information from you in order to create a case for you.

 

Please look for a private message requesting additional information. 

Keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers, case details, etc...).
