I have the same problem on an HP Officejet 8500 A909 when printing from any of my Samsung Android Phones or Tablets. Yet this printer prints perfectly from my Win 10. This printer use to print android print jobs fine but Now it does NOT.  So something has changed??? . And it does NOT  have the WRONG size or type paper selected.  I have tried printing via HP smart application also and the same "Paper Mismatch" error continues to happen.

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

I recommend you uninstall the HP Smart app on your phone and then reinstall it and check if it helps.
