Remove and reinstall the indicated cartridge. Envy 7120, Black

Product: HP ENVY Photo 7120
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I am unable to stop the message "Remove and reinstall the indicated cartridge". I have done all the steps from the HP support site such as:
unplugging for 60 seconds
installed a new catridge
clean contacts on both the cartridge and printer with a damp cloth and let dry for ten minutes
I have also done a semi-full reset from the hidden support menu. (which I was interestingly enough able to print a "Connectivity Report" but, nothing else).
I had HP verify my warranty, considering it would print the "Connectivity Report" page from the hidden support menu, I'm thinking its an internal software issue? I have had no success contacting HP through the Messenger link.
Please help, this printer is only a couple months old and DRIVING ME NUTS!!!! We need it for school and work, considering everything is done from home right now.
