Product: hp 3055A
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Every time i try to print a photo with my hp3055a deskjet printer i get an irritating tab/border about half an inch at the bottom of photo. This happens on both 4x6 or 5x7. I have tried to change settings to remove tab from photo but with no luck. Any help would be apprieciated.

@PaulG4, you can use the 4x6 (tab) photo paper.

Not what you want to hear, but the Deskjet 3055a does not support borderless photo printing.  The printer needs approximately 0.5" bottom margin to handle the media.

The issue is not due to driver settings, it is an issue with how the printer holds paper at the bottom of the print.  While some printers are designed to print full edge to edge on all four sides of a photo this requires a different feed mechanism to hold the paper properly while printing to the bottom of the page.

 

The Deskjet 3055a does not have the hardware to handle borderless printing.
