Officejet 5258

I have misplaced the setup cartridges for my new hp Officejet 5258 printer. I bought a set of replacement 63 but cannot get the printer past the setup cartridge message on the printer screen. Is there a method to bypass this?

@jkbd18 Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you installed the new ink cartridges, now it is asking for install the setup ink cartridges message.

You have to perform the below steps to bypass:

TL, BL, TL, TL

TL-Home button

BL- Back button

You will get the support menu, You have to scroll for the reset menu, Then you have select the trade OOB reset.

let me know how that pans out,

And the answer to the above question will help me, help you!

Keep me posted, and if any of the above questionnaires helped resolve the issue,
