Product: pro 6978
Operating System: macOS 10.13 High Sierra

I have followed all the suggestions.   Took out printer tray. turned off. put printer tray back in.  turned on. will NOT copy a page because it is a mismatch to the Envelope it says I have loaded.  I have not loaded an envelope and no matter how many times I 'Modify"  the paper size it ignores me.  I finally just kept hitting copy and opened the printer drawer and slammed it shut each time and after spitting out 3 sheets of paper, it printed.  Brilliant.  Is there a real solution ?

Hi,

Open and close the paper tray and follow the prompt on screen.

 

Be sure to click Modify, then change and confirm both the required paper size and Paper Type of the printer.

Thanks for answering, ShlomiL.   However, if you re read my post you will read that I did open, close, follow prompts and modified the paper size.  To no avail!   I even added a few choice words directed at the printer. Also did not work.

Hi @smirksalone,

I did read your post and believe we may missing some simple steps in here.

 

Please open and close the tray and let me know what exactly is shown on the screen (be sure to write both the size and type exactly as shown)
