I have bought an HP Deskjet 3630 as a standby printer for colour printing (usually use a mono laser) and will only use it very occasionally. Does turning the printer on clean the inkjets (I could turn it on/off every week)? What do I have to do to stop the inkjets from blocking? How often?

@GaryMelb, Welcome to HP Support Community!
I understand that you use the Deskjet printer occasionally for color printing. In order to stop the inks from getting dried up, you can either use the printer to print once in a week or you can choose to remove the ink cartridges and store them separately, use them when required. Refer to the document HP Inkjet Supplies - Storing Opened Cartridges and Printheads for help.
