Hi

This message might be the same problem I have, but the link gives an error 404.

The same happens if I search for a document with c02912206  in its name. I get a link, but get an error 404 if I try to open the page.

@ikke3 Was this device repaired at the repair center recently or did you recently purchase the device?

While you respond to that, it looks like the device is on MPM (Manufacturing Programming Mode) for all the functional tests.

This MPM is then deactivated at the end of the production line.

For a small bunch of units (included yours), the MPM deactivation failed.

The main issue is that, even if your Windows key has been embedded in your BIOS, the MPM mode avoids Windows to access and recognize it.

A simple tool has been developed to solve this issue, but is confidential and can only be used by HP repair partners.

You may ask why, so I'l explain quickly : this tool is harmless for almost every user, but it can be used by evil-minded persons to create BIOS viruses or hacking.

Hence, I suggest you talk to HP support and discuss your options, follow the below steps to get started:

1) Click on this link - http://www.hp.com/contacthp/

2) Click on Sign-in or select the product using the below step:

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Click on "Show Options".

Fill the web-form, to populate a case number and phone number for yourself!

Also, if you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty, if yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from,

here's how private messages work: Click here for details.

P.S: Welcome to HP Community 😉

If you wish to thank me for my efforts, you could click on "Accept as solution" on my post as the solution should help others too.
