I think the Cartridge is jammed.

Hello Abuzer1, 

 

May i know the printer Model# to assist you better.

 

However you may try the below steps..

  1. While the printer is ON, unplug the power cord from back of the printer.
  2. Wait for 30 seconds.
  3. Now plug in the power cord to back of the printer.
  4. Wait unitl the pritner is idle and then remove all the cartridges .
  5. Check for any paper pieces in the carriage area. If found , remove it
  6. Now try moving the carriage ( cartridge holder in the printer) from Right to Left and then Left to Right.
  7. Install the Cartridges . Close the cartridge door.
  8. Try making a COPY. It should work.

The model is HP DeskJet GT 5820.

I tried the method you suggested, didn't work.

It shows me a printing error "Tri Color cartridge has been jammed or damaged".

So i think i have to replace the cartridges/printheads.
