Solved!

Twice in the past 7 days my Envy 5460 has printed documents from an unknown source. Wifi/Printer?

Envy5460
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have had 2 random printouts on the above printer. Each of them relates to the same subject material but neither have originated from our network.

Conclusion is printer or wifi issue.

Any clues?

@GeoffW2

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Do you  have a password to your Wi-Fi? If you don't, we recommend you to contact your Internet Service Provider and set a password for your Wi-Fi and then setup the Printer once again through Wireless Setup Wizard.

I hope this answers your question. Let me know if you need any further assistance.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!

Have a great day!

Yes. It is deemed strong by my password checker.

I have also rebooted my wifi and turned off the printer wireless capability.

As an added precaution the printer is now powered down when not in use.

Time will tell but I suspect wifi, particularly a network just up the road, is to blame.

We'll let the matter rest.

Many thanks,

Geoff W
