Unable to get printer to print on 5x7 photo paper. Print setup only has settings for 4x6 but print tray allows 5x7 photo paper. How do I get printer to accept 5x7 format?

Welcome to HP Forums. This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.
I understand that the Printer is not giving the option to print on 5 X 7 Photo Paper.
I'd like to help.
Let's uninstall the Printer Driver from root level.
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’
6.) Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the “Drivers” tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
Restart your Printer and computer, then download the Full Feature Software from Here
Let me know how it goes.

I am sorry. I did not give you all the info necessary to help with my problem. My bad. I am trying to print wirelessly with my iPad Air. In it’s print options it only has 4x6 as a size option. However, I am using 5x7 which readily fits in the printer. If I try to print anyway it spits out the 5x7 like it’s printing but there is nothing on the photo paper. Thanks.

Which application are you using to print from iPad?
Could you share a picture of the options showing paper size?
Keep me posted!

The only option it gives is 4x6. I know for a fact that the printer tray is set up to accept 4x6 and 5x7 as well as I think 3x5. My wife forwarded me swabbie69 me pictures of our family and I was trying to print one of them out. When it sent out the photo paper it says something about http//drive goo.....AUf-9SwJr1w/view. It also gives date and time as well as Page 1 of1 but no picture at all.

This did not help because I am working with,y iPad to try to print photos but am unable to print on any setting but 4x6 and I have 5x7 photo paper loaded in the printer. Do I have to change some settings in the printer so 5x7 is available as a choice?
