Hello,

 

I hope someone can help me AT LAST!!  I haven't been able to print now for 3 months.  I have an HP Office Jet 3830 series printer.

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.  If the printer is installed, try to uninstall and reinstall.

Please Uninstall and Reinstall the FULL feature software following these steps:

1. Uninstall the software in your computer
2. Download and save the FULL feature software (do not install it online)
https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-officejet-3830-all-in-one-printer-series/7172321

Download from Software -Utility "HP OfficeJet 3830 series Print and Scan Driver and Accessories"

 

3. Install the FULL feature “Saved” software

 

Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.

I don't know yet greenturtle!  I have to try to uninstall and re-install my printer software.  Once I do that my issue should be solved.  Thanks much for your help!  I appreciate it.
