Unable to remove ink cartridges as part of troubleshooting step from HP ENVY 4500

HP ENVY 4500

Good evening,

My printer is displaying a 0xc error code. The troubleshooting steps I’ve encountered so far ask me to remove the ink cartridges but the printer will not move the cartridges to the center upon opening the cover. Therefore, I am unable to remove the cartridges. Kindly assist in removing them somehow in case I also need to change printers; the cartridges are HP Instant Ink ones.

@Alvie_G, Welcome to HP Support Community!

If you have already performed the steps from the document '0xc19a0005' or Similar Error Code Displays and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

Hope this helps!
