We have a HP Office Jet Pro 6968 printer (serial# [edit]) . We bought It from Best Buy a few years back. My wife could not get it linked with her Asus Laptop. I could get it to print from my Phone. Basically we used the printer about 10 times just after we bought it and printed form my phone, but it has basically just been sitting here the last few used doing nothing.

Best Buy was pushing this at us when we were looking for a printer. Will not listen to them again. They highlighted the benefit of ink being sent to us as we need it.

We need it to work for her since she is working from home. All it says now when we power it up is "Call Hewlit Packard".

The ink has dried in the printhead from lack of use.

Inkjets are not designed to sit unused for any period of time. (about 5-7 days)
