Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

For the past several days, the printer shows there is an update. I've tried from the printer and from the device software on my PC - the download constantly times out.
The printer is connected with a network cable. The home network is good - internet is a decent speed, and reliable.

The highest percentage downloaded yet is 52%, but then stalls and I receive the error;

"The printer update could not be downloaded.

Click Retry to try downloading the update again.

Note: To use Web Services and HP Instant Ink on the printer, this update must be downloaded."

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

I guess that all it took was to complain because after the 25th time of trying to update today, the update download finally completed and is now installed.
