Deskjet 2540 All-in-One Printe
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi,

All of the sudden my printer has been printing the wrong colors. It prints pink-y colors in place of the yellows when printing pictures. BUT, when I print a test page, both the yellow and pink show up. However I have noticed that the test page that prints is different from the sample image on the screen, in that the the yellow and pink colors are in the wrong spots. ( The yellow has been printed in the spot where the pink is supposed to be.) It's almost as if somebody changed the setting and switched where the pink and red are supposed to be. I have cleaned the cartridge heads, put in new cartridges, and aligned them. Nothing is working! I can't seem to find this exact problem anywhere on the internet, because the yellow WILL PRINT, but only when its a test page.

Thanks in advance for any tips!

-Leah

PS. I am using a tricolor ink cartiridge in the printer.
