Officejet 4630

Finally bought a new ink cartridge for my Officejet4630. I bought the economy version of HP61 ink instead of the regular size. When I put it in, I get an error that reads "The indicated cartridges are not intended for use in this printer". When I put back in the old ink, I don't get an error. I've checked that my firmware is updated. What's the problem??

@mihelle, Welcome to HP Support Community!

It looks like an issue with the ink cartridge, nothing to worry as you can get it replaced through HP. Before that, we can try some steps to isolate the issue further. Refer to the document  Ink Cartridge Errors for help.

If the issue persists, please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the ink replacement

Hope this helps!
