Your printer is regionalized for the county your live in. You will not be able to use those cartridges.

Thanks for prompt reply sabretooth.

 

I'm not sure I understand what you mean though.  I have been using the printer for almost 4 years in Europe with the 862 cartridges.  Are you specifically referring to the 564 cartridges?

My 7525 printer has 5 cartridges.  I just replace all except the setup black.  I purchased the cartridges directly from HP.  So:

1.  It does not print or copy at all

2.  It tells me the cartridges are not genuine HP

3.  I have cleaned the print heads, realighed the printer, taken the cartridges out and turned them upside down, turned off and on the power several times, and nothing seems to work.

 

Hardware error?
