Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Will a D4260 Deskjet printer work with Windows 10?

@TH53, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Yes, there is a printer driver available for this model printer to work on a Win 10 PC.

Click here to download the HP Full-featured driver.

Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and follow the on-screen instructions.

Before this, you have to check if the printer hardware is working fine. If the printer itself is not working, connecting it to a PC will not help.

To check this, print a diagnostics page

  1. Hold down the Power button.

  2. While holding down the Power button, press the Photo button once. The test page prints.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
