I have tried several attempts to hook up this printer wirelessly with no luck! What is the password? I have tried my wireless router password, I have made up a password, I typed any and every thing. Can someone else help! I am using my iPhone 6 no laptop here. Thank you

Hi @Dmn151,

Thanks for stopping by the HP forums. Good day! Smiley Happy I reviewed the post about setting up the printer on a wireless network with your iPhone.  I will be a delight to assist you here. Smiley Happy

Superb effort, splendid troubleshooting and commendable diagnosis of the issue before posting.  Kudos to you on that score. Smiley Happy  You are a valued HP customer and it is paramount to assist you here. I take it as a privilege to share this platform with you. Smiley Happy

For better clarity and to assist you better I would require more information regarding this.

  • Please let me know if you are using your router’s password to connect to the printer?
  • What is the exact error message that you get?
  • Could you please send a screenshot to help me to assist you better?
  • Or are you trying to connect to the printer without a router using a wireless connection?

For now please check these links out to get the password of your wireless router to add the printer to the network to connect with your iPhone.

This user guide of the printer will also help you establish a wifi connection without using a router, between the printer and the iPhone: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03847745 Please check page 53 for more information regarding this. Also please check pages 47 to 52 for traditional wireless setup of the printer.

Hope this helps.   I genuinely hope the issue gets resolved without hassles and the unit works great. Smiley Happy  Please reach out for any issues and I'll always be there to assist you always. Smiley Happy
