Hello,
I have a HP Envy 5546 Inkjet printer.
I am unable to print word documents, pdf's etc wirelessly from my laptop.
When I open HP Support Assistant the printer is recognised and online and the laptop is clearly communicating with it. I can print status report wirelessly.
When I try to print I get message to say printer is in an error state.
Please help - it would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Scott

Hi Scotty,
Can you tell us exactly what the error says? Or does it just say 'error state'?
Meanwhile, HP developed a helpful step-by-step guide for troubleshooting that I would highly recommend: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-envy-5540-all-in-one-printer-series/5447939/model/7770153/do....
Thanks,
