Upon returning to our vacation home, the printer ink had all dried up. I cleaned the printhead about 2 times and replaced the color cartridges and the new ones worked fine. The black one has never printed since we got here, before and after cleaning and replacing the black cartridge and cleaning the printhead about 20 times. I have tried everything suggested on these boards but am open to hearing new suggestions.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Are you able to copy in black?
Aligning the printhead can resolve errors:
Load plain white paper in the input tray.
From the printer control panel, open the Setup menu.
Open the Printer Maintenance or Tools menu.
Touch Align Printhead.
An alignment page prints.
