Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Just revived this printer from storage. Insalled all new ink cartridges. All colors except light magenta and magenta are OK. Both magenta cartridges don't print. One of the two seems to be leaving excess ink in the area near printhead parking zone. Help???

I understand that you are facing an issue with print quality and ink leaking. Glad to help. 

Kudos to you for trying to troubleshoot the issue on your own.

Have you tried to make a copy to check the print quality while making a copy? 

 

Recommend you to refer to steps 4 and 5 in this article for assistance in cleaning the printheads and aligning them.

Also, refer HP Photosmart C6100 All-in-One Series - Colors Bleeding into Each Other

If the issue persists, please contact our phone support for the trade-in or service options.

 

Please follow the procedure mentioned below to contact our phone support. 

  • Open link:  www.hp.com/contacthp/
  • Enter Product number or select to auto detect
  • Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"
  • Scroll down and click on HP contact options - click on Get phone number.
