I cannot print multiple copies from mac os mojave to HP color inkjet 8740. A message comes up on printer screen

"unable to store job." I suppose this is related to the fact that I have to print each single copy separately.

Hello,

Below steps should resolve..

  • While the printer is ON, unplug the power cord from back of the printer.
  • Unplug USB cable from printer if any .
  • Wait for 60 seconds.
  • Plug in the power cord directly to a wall outlet ( bypass the surge / power strip ) and then to the back of the printer.
  • If printer does not power on automatically, you may press the ON button to do so.
  • Now try printing.

Unfortunately the unplugging and restarting didn't work, though I especially liked the idea of

bypassing the surge protector. Thanks, Jazbi for your input.

Anyone else have an idea?
